Ms. Humphrey handles the personal injury and wrongful death cases for the firm and has been with NCLF since 2006. Ms. Humphrey has handled some of the largest wrongful death cases in Campbell County in recent memory. She has devised a procedure to effectively move cases through the court system while genuinely caring for the heirs and family members of those left behind. Ms. Humphrey is consulted by attorneys and judges alike in this area of law and treats the family members as if they were her own.
Ms. Humphrey also prides herself on providing her personal injury clients with a full range of legal services including: handling insurance providers, requesting medical records and billing statements, investigating crashes, handling subrogation lien holders, setting up and arranging medical payment claims through her clients’ carriers, contacting clients’ medical providers regarding outstanding balances, and securing expert witness testimony in a variety of cases.
Stephanie Humphrey was born and raised in Kansas. She graduated from college with her bachelor’s of science degree in Kansas before moving to Wyoming in 2001. Ms. Humphrey attended and graduated from University of Wyoming College of Law in 2004 and moved to Gillette shortly thereafter. For the first two years that Ms. Humphrey practiced law she worked as a Deputy County Attorney at the Campbell County Attorney’s Office. In June of 2006, she left the County Attorney’s office and joined The Nick Carter Law Firm, P.C. She has been with The Nick Carter Law Firm ever since.
